Top 10 Bed Defenses

For some reason, whenever you buy blast proof glass and place it at the first layer your teammates yell at you. They leave the game when you place water on the top of the build limit. There's an easy fix. GET GUD Read this article to learn the beefyest defenses! how do you spell that anyway

10. None
Cost: None (weren't you listening?)
Easiest defense to make: nothing. This will save you time to rush your side, but it will leave you exposed if you fail the rush. Only for the sweatiest of the tryhards.

9. Wool
Cost: 4 iron
This is the one of the simplest defense that most people use. Use it if you are going to rush, but can easily be bypassed using some shears.

8. Wood
Cost: 4 gold
Slightly costlier, but will make the opponent want to buy an axe to break your bed. There is time to break it if you kill them while you are at their base, but they will respawn right as you break the bed.

7. Butterfly Defense
Cost: 4 gold 4 iron
This defense is created by creating the first layer of wood, then attaching 4 more wood to each end of the bed, making a long bed thing. Then you cover the middle part with wool, so that the shape is a regular 2 layer defense. The gold might take a while, but unless your side rushes really quickly there is time to create this defense before they come.

6. Endstone
Cost: 24 iron
This takes up a lot of iron that could be spent on other things, but it could be worth it because your opponent has to buy a pickaxe.

5. Wood + Endstone
Cost: 4 gold 48 iron
This defense requires the opponent to get both a pickaxe and an axe. Place a layer of wood at the bottom, then place 4 more at the front of the bed, so that if they break from the front they have to go through one more layer. You should have 4 wood left. Then place endstone all over the wood, and you should have 1 endstone left. Place both the wood and endstone in your ender chest just in case someone comes and breaks a couple of blocks and you need a replacement.

4. Obsidian + Wool
Cost: 8 emeralds 8 iron
For this defense, you have to go to mid to get some emeralds. (I mean, you could get emerald forge instead, but like...) The strategy is to place a basic wool defense, then rush mid and wait for 8 emeralds. Then hurry back and hope no one kills you yet and replace it with obsidian. Then cover it with wool so that people won't know it's obsidian. The benefit of this defense is that people need to buy a diamond pickaxe to break your defense, which costs 20 iron and 9 gold. However, it's very expensive.

3. Obsidian + Wood + Endstone + Wool
Cost: 8 emeralds and some number of gold and iron (too lazy)
The trick is to alternate between tools so that the opponent gets really annoyed. Start with obsidian at the bottom, then wood, endstone, and finally wool. This is one of the strongest defenses, except for...

2.Obsidian + Wood + Endstone + Clay + Blast Proof Glass + Water + Wool
Cost: [an error occurred while trying to process the amount of iron needed]
Welp. By the time you finish making this defense, it will probably be the end of the game and your bed will be automatically destroyed. If you want to make it anyway, place the blocks in this order: obsidian, wood, endstone, wood, clay, blast proof glass, then place two water buckets at the top two blocks, then cover it with wool. This is obviously the most powerful defense, except for...

1. Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool + Wool
Cost: depends on how insane you are
Simplest defense to create, and also defends the most. Just make every single layer wool, until you fill up your entire base with your defense. If you would like you can keep going until you fill the entire map. Pretty ez.
