How strong is steve?

We all know Steve is really strong. He can hold tons of rocks with no effort. But, what is the true limit? How much can Steve carry? Let's find out.

First, I started by finding the heaviest block in Minecraft. Enchanted golden apples used to be crafted with eight gold blocks, but it was removed in an update. Anvils sound heavy, but gold blocks do too. (We can't include netherite because we don't know its weight in real life.) Well, a quick google search tells us that:

-1 cubic meter of gold is 42,509.53 lb

-1 cubic meter of iron is 17,284.24 lb

It looks like gold is heavier, but an anvil is made of 3 iron blocks and 4 ingots. One ingot is a ninth of a cubic meter, and doing the math we get:

-a block of gold is 42,509.53 lb

-an anvil is 59,534.60 lb

So it looks like an anvil is the heaviest block in the game. Well, you can hold a stack of them at once, so thats:

-a stack of anvils is 3,810,214.4 lb

Well, that seems pretty heavy. But you can carry more than one stack. You have your hotbar, your inventory, and your offhand. That's 37 stacks. That adds up to...

-an inventory full of anvils is 140,977,932.8 lb

Ok. Wow. 141M pounds seems like a lot.

However.

We forgot shulker boxes.

If we fill every single shulker box full of anvils, that's 27 stacks per inventory slot. So then:

-an inventory full of shulker boxes full of anvils is 3,806,404,185.6 lb

3.8 BILLION POUNDS.

But that's not all.

Steve can wear armor, too.

If he wears full gold armor, thats 24 gold ingots.

-full gold armor is 113,358.75 lb

So in total, the true maximum is:

-steve can carry 3,806,517,544.35 lb

That is a lot of weight. That's about 253,767 elephants, or one of my friends that are in my Minecraft group chat on Hangouts. Seriously, Steve is the strongest guy in the world. But, there's one thing I noticed...

You can't carry shulker boxes in your offhand in Bedrock edition.

So, Steve is stronger in Java edition than in Bedrock.

COLD, HARD PROOF THAT JAVA IS BETTER THAN BEDROCK.
